Responsibilities

• Transport vehicles safely and efficiently to and from dealerships, customers, vendors, service facilities, and other designated locations
• Operate company-owned trucks and single-vehicle auto transport trailers
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles in accordance with company procedures and applicable safety requirements
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of transport vehicles, trailers, tie-down equipment, and related equipment
• Inspect and document vehicle condition before and after transport
• Maintain accurate records of all vehicle transports, including pickup and delivery information
• Maintain transport equipment in a clean, organized, and serviceable condition
• Immediately report vehicle damage, equipment concerns, accidents, or other transportation-related issues
• Coordinate with dealership personnel regarding vehicle pickup and delivery schedules
• Maintain all company and applicable transportation safety standards
• Represent the dealership professionally when interacting with customers, vendors, and other dealerships

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Experience operating a truck and trailer
• Experience loading, securing, and transporting vehicles preferred
• Ability to safely maneuver and back a vehicle with a trailer
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Strong communication skills
• Professional and positive attitude
• Ability to safely enter and exit vehicles and perform vehicle loading and securement duties
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to accommodate occasional schedule changes based on transportation needs
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and driving-record review
