• Proficiency using computers and electronic documentation systems

Long-Term Care Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting
• Assess resident conditions, identify changes in status, and communicate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and treatments according to orders, policies, and applicable regulations
• Document assessments, interventions, and resident responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with residents, families, providers, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Apply sound clinical judgment while planning care, establishing priorities, and responding to changing resident needs
