In this highly visible role, you'll partner with business units and global customers to define, architect, and industrialize advanced cooling technologies, including HVAC, chillers, coolant distribution units (CDUs), and liquid-cooling systems, while leveraging Jabil's global manufacturing footprint.Location: Remote within the U.S. or based at Jabil's St. Petersburg, FL Gandy Lab (relocation assistance available). Travel approximately 15-20%.What You'll DoDemonstrate technical expertise in HVACR market domains and liquid-cooling systemsTranslate customer and market needs into scalable, manufacturable, and energy-efficient solutions. Lead system architecture & requirements definition.Drive technical feasibility studies, system trade-offs, and performance optimization across cost, reliability, efficiency, and schedule.Partner with customers, Sales, and Business Units to develop technical solutions supporting strategic growth opportunities.Lead cross-functional design reviews across mechanical, thermal, controls, electrical, manufacturing, and quality teams.Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and energy-efficiency targets.Support manufacturing readiness, supply chain strategy, and product industrialization from concept through production.What You'll BringBachelor/Master's degree in Energy, ME/EE/Thermal engineering, or related field.10+ years of experience in all relevant HVACR domains (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) and related product development (heat pumps, chillers, CDU, refrigerant systems, …)5+ years of experience in liquid-cooling systems5+ years of experience in system architecture and platform leadershipASHRAE certification is strongly preferredStrong customer-facing communication and executive presentation skills.Experience collaborating across global teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.Why Jabil?This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of one of the fastest-growing markets in technology and energy infrastructure.
